Our hospital was founded by Dr. Frederick Gruneck who envisioned a major medical center for the then rapidly expanding orchard community of the San Fernando Valley. The Northridge Hospital family of over 850 physicians and 2000 plus employees is thankful for the opportunity of serving the community for more than 50 years. And, we look forward to continuing our tradition of making miracles as we move into the hospital’s next half century.
