High-Risk Pregnancy Services

Perinatology

There are many reasons a woman may be considered at higher risk of complications during pregnancy. Fortunately, women who need special care can receive it from the UCLA Perinatal Group at Northridge Hospital Medical Center. High-risk pregnancies could include diabetes, high blood pressure, carrying more than one baby, advanced maternal age or other genetic predisposition.

Patients seeking an appointment in the Perinatal Center should call 818-886-5975. All patients are required to complete UCLA patient registration. Patients with HMO insurance must have a written authorization for services before an appointment can be scheduled.

The UCLA Perinatal Group provides a full range of prenatal and Antenatal testing services. If you are a high-risk patient your physician can refer you to receive consultation and total obstetrical care. Prenatal services include:

  • Targeted or Level III ultrasound evaluation
