A cancer diagnosis can be as devastating as it is stunning. But with a caring and committed team of caregivers and support staff, it can also be life affirming.
Treating the whole patient - body, mind, and spirit - is the centerpiece of the care delivered at Northridge Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Walid Arnaout, Medical Director for the hospital's Liver and Pancreas Surgical Oncology Clinic, says "it becomes more of a friendship" The medical staff and patients even shared a Thanksgiving dinner together.
