Visitor Information

ALERT! New visitor restrictions are now in effect.

In accordance with the CDC guidelines, and in an effort to keep our staff and patients safe during the current H1N1 pandemic, we have amended our current visitor policy.

  • Visitors will be limited to those 16 years of age and older. No one under 16 years of age will be permitted to visit in any of the patient care units. This now includes Obstetrics, Pediatrics, PICU and NICU as well.
  • Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to be left unattended by an adult in any public area within the hospital. No more than two (2) persons can visit a patient at any one time.

Visitors will be screened by asking if they have a fever, cough or sore throat. If the visitor is well, they will be given a pass to enter the hospital. If the visitor is ill, they will be advised not to visit. If those that are ill decline to leave, they will be given a mask to wear, alcohol hand rub and they will be educated on proper hand hygiene

Thank you for your ongoing dedication and partnership in this effort as we work to keep our patients and staff safe during these unusual times.

Please Wash Your Hands
Hand washing is the most important thing patients, visitors and staff can do to stop the spread of infection.

The purpose of infection control practices is to provide a safer environment for everyone. Therefore, visitors with symptoms of contagious diseases or infections. including colds and flu, should not visit patient areas.
