Hard at Work - Fall 2013
Humankindness is at the heart of our community outreach. That’s why over the past 12 years, we've awarded grants totaling $2,688,600 to 78 non-profit organizations who benefit the community via the Northridge Hospital/Dignity Health Community Grant Program. And in fiscal year 2013—in just 12 months—we provided nearly $62 million in financial assistance, community benefit and unreimbursed patient care.
In Fall 2013 issue of HealthSpeak read stories of programs that add a special touch of humankindness. And we are growing to serve you better from revolutionary heart care to caring for our smallest patients in our new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Mini Incisions, Mighty Recoveries. Patients can get back on their feet even faster with the newly acquired and more refined da Vinci Si Robotic Surgical System. Heart procedures are now more efficient than ever before with the arrival of the Siemens Hybrid Bi-Plane OR Suite. We are the first facility on the West Coast to offer this technologically advanced room, which combines imaging capabilities, vascular interventional procedures and surgery in one convenient area.
