The Rewards of Service

She chose Northridge Hospital Medical Center in Northridge, CA, because of the state-of-the-art technology, a collaborative work environment, and a strong commitment to caring for all in need. "We all work together to serve the patients from beginning to end," she says. "That's very rewarding for me."
Focused on Healing
Kevin Mather was out for a bike ride with his friends when a paralyzing car accident changes his life.
But Kevin's indomitable spirit, combined with the expertise of Northridge Hospital Medical Center's rehabilitation team, is giving him a new beginning.
"everyone here is happy to help you and pushes you to push yourself," he says. "You're not focused on your injury, you're focused on getting better."
Health Care is Personal
A cancer diagnosis can be as devastating as it is stunning. But with a caring and committed team of caregivers and support staff, it can also be life affirming. Patient Jeanne Gordon talks about her experience at the Leavey Cancer Center.
Treating the whole patient - body, mind, and spirit - is the centerpiece of the care delivered at Northridge Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Walid Arnaout, Medical Director for the hospital's Liver and Pancreas Surgical Oncology Clinic, says "it becomes more of a friendship" The medical staff and patients even shared a Thanksgiving dinner together."
